La Crescenta Presbyterian Church

Light A Candle Mission received the mission group La Crescenta Presbyterian Church with the aim of working together in favor of impoverished communities. We visited 6 bateyes with a medical operation and with our educational stations serving more than 500 people, children, women and men.

Each day around 50 volunteers join efforts, we work in the bateys Lechuga, Quisqueya, Magdalena, Guajabo, El Salado and in the municipality of Pica Piedra, the people who attended were evaluated by health professionals from the United States and the health team. LAC, then they were prescribed and these medications were delivered free of charge to each one.

We thank La Crescenta Presbyterian Church for their willingness to help the most needy of our Dominican Republic.
