Our organization coordinates general mobile medical clinics in the bateys or underserved barrios (neighborhoods) in La Romana. Our Education Stations are incorporated into the clinics as well-organized educational modules offering activities and information on a variety of health topics that emphasize health promotion and prevention. For visiting teams interested in ongoing care for common chronic health problems, we coordinate specialty clinics in hypertension or diabetes based on a successful model we have developed and implemented since 2016.
