Batey Nuevo is a community located in southeast Dominican Republic

Batey Nuevo is a community located in southeast Dominican Republic. The staff of Light A Candle drive all the way to this remote location to deliver our service through our hypertension program.

Once we get to the community, we work on providing the best service we can give them. They receive orientation about the possible consequences of not treating hypertension properly and they also receive enough medications to last until our next visit.
