157 young people participated in either an 8 session workshop to learn about prevention of sexually transmitted infection/HIV and dynamics of healthy relationships OR to learn about Heart Health (Mi Corazon, Mi Vida).
107 young people graduated from these programs with 100% attendance & passing a test.
For the Heart Health curriculum, the average pre-test score (before classes) was 56 and the average post-test score (after completing classes) was 81. An average improvement of 25 points was observed from pre-test scores to post-test scores.
1,222 people were evaluated during hypertension clinics performed in 2017. 873 people received their treatment for blood pressure in these clinics.
